TV's own - 'requiem for a dream' - Oprah Winfrey new movie “Precious” has won a top award at the Toronto Film Festival. The incest filled drama was honoured with the People’s Choice award.
According to the Director, Lee Daniels:
“I made this film for every person out there who ever looked in the mirror and felt unsure about the person looking back. This is not an art film for a select few. This is a movie that everyone can relate to,”
Wait - Is this suppose to be a movie that "everyone" can relate to or a movie that hermaphrodites will relate to?
If you read this novel, you will understand that "Precious" was born as a hermaphrodite and she was constantly raped by a family member and carried their children.
