Beyoncé, Kelly Rowland and Solange Knowles all hit up events this weekend rocking a serious burst of bright color. And, considering that they all grew up as thick as thieves, it isn't a stretch to imagine that there might have been a bit of a fashion connection. Beyoncé wore Balmain, who is quickly becoming her go-to designer, to to the BET Awards on Sunday, June 28. The mini-dress was sequined and featured an elaborate design of pinks, purples, greens and reds. Her little sister Solange opted for a color block bodysuit while performing at San Francisco's Lesbian Gay Bisexual and Transgendered (LGBT) Pride parade over the weekend. The suit is from Zentai, which creates a number of superhero-esque ensembles for the very very brave. Kelly Rowland, who grew up with the Knowles sisters, also stepped out in support of the LGBT community at the Toronto Pride concert. She sported a pair of liquid leggings with a bright pink and black corset top. *********************************************************************************
When Beyonce wore this mini-shirt as a dress to the BET awards, a SUBLIMINAL MESSAGE was sent to her fellow comrades; in celebration of "GAY PRIDE". In addition to performing at the BET awards, a private show was given to a select few. At the BET awards show, she thanked all of the people who submitted their video version for "If i were a boy". Maybe its me or maybe its not me - but - I don't recall seeing videos of people dancing around to this track on youtube. However, I do recall a lot of people dancing around in leotards to the "Single Ladies" track. It was rather odd that BET gave Beyonce an award for "If i were a boy". They sure did send her a subliminal message because in all honesty, Beyonce was born male.
